Stone Entrance Gate Plaques
GARDEN, STONE CARVING
Two large ornately carved stone plaques flank the entrance to a private home and give a hint to the decoration and interest to be found on entry. Carved with a delicate and practiced hand by the mason, these stone carvings are a fine example of the talent available to us and the detail that can be achieved in stone. A nod to the native woodland nearby, the panels contain relief carved dog roses, bluebells, beech leaves and butterflies with a scabbled background that sets our design off.
