A stone fireplace with pulvinated frieze designed for the sitting room of a country house. Classically detailed and crafted in a beautiful tight sandstone, the stone surround is carved to an exquisite quality. Areas of the face are tooled and scabbled to add a delicate texture and interest to the stone up close.
